Research Question:

In what ways is our criminal justice system biased for people of color and how might a truth and reconciliation approach ensure more justice?

Thesis Statement:

The criminal justice system is inequitable for people of color in various ways, and that coming to terms with the wrongdoings of ones past in the criminal justice system/school curricula will ensure more justice for those of color.

Action Project Description:

My goal for this project was to inspire and educate community members. Racial inequality is a pressing issue that has existed for several centuries. I created a website that goes over various forms of racial inequality. It talks about the corona virus, life after prison, wrongfully condemned and more. Along with the website, I connected it to a hashtag and my social media outlets so that more people can get access and learn about this information.
