Research Question:What are the impacts of geoengineering, and to what degree is it necessary for the preservation of a stable global climate?
Thesis Statement:In light of current climate models, geoengineering is an important short-term measure to keep climate change from reaching a dangerous self-perpetuating level. Through a combination of SRM and CDR geoengineering strategies, it is possible to halt the acceleration of climate change until sufficient carbon emission reductions can be adopted.

Thesis Paper:
Action Project Description:
For my action project, I decided to investigate the ways in which I can personally contribute to the recycling of post-consumer plastic waste. To do this, I created a set of machines that shred, then melt and extrude that plastic into new molds. I took my inspiration from Dave Hakken of Precious Plastic, who did a very similar project. The end goal of this project is to install the machines at the local makerspace, as that is where it can be accessed by many people from the community, and the end products can be used to their fullest potential.
