Research Question:How does validating skateboarding as a legit sport in the 2020 Olympics evolve the core beliefs to embody the skateboarding community in the 21st century?
Thesis Statement:Regardless of the controversy within the community, every skater can agree with the fact that this massive platform and event holds tremendous respect and could bring unforeseen changes to the sport and its image.

Action Project Description:For my action project my goal was to produce a skateboarding film to show why community is so important and how to stay active and healthy during a global pandemic. I'm hoping the video my peers and I created will inspire the younger generation of skaters to hop on a board. Through this film I embody the skateboarding counter culture.
