Research Question:How can an understanding of the psychological effects of the death penalty inform death penalty policy?
Thesis Statement:The effects of capital punishment differ for each person involved, from prisoners to family members, extreme effects of solitary confinement are experienced, asking the question of why we still use this punishment.

Thesis Paper:
Action Project Description:Even though I studied the death penalty for my thesis research paper, I decided to shift my action project focus to something more relevant to modern news. My partner, Toby Aten, and I decided we wanted to focus our project on the governors suggestions to stay at home. We created a hashtag, #sittingonyourcouchsaveslives, in order to spread the awareness that staying home will in fact keep others healthy! We created two different poster designs to hang around town and promoted our ideas through a youtube video and an Instagram account, @gohomeandsavelives.
